Control gift option availability
Use both catalog status and Home service switches to control what shoppers can buy.
How to use it
- Open the relevant Gift Wrapping, Gift Bags, Greeting Cards or Upsells tab.
- Use the status filter to find the option, then check or clear its Active control.
- Use Edit to change its details. Use Delete only if you intend to remove the saved option.
- Check that the service is switched on in Home, then open a storefront product to confirm the result.
What to know
PrepMyGifts creates and updates the Shopify product variants used for gift options. An option may stay unavailable if that update has failed; contact support if saving it does not fix the storefront.
Deactivating or deleting an option does not erase past purchases. Keep the app-created Shopify variants associated with their gift options.
What happens next
Only usable active options for enabled services are offered to shoppers.
