Manage recommended product add-ons
Use Upsells to offer extra products in the gift popup, such as a ribbon or a small companion gift. You supply and fulfill these products.
How to use it
- Open PrepMyGifts → Upsells.
- Choose Add add-on. Enter a name and price in your store currency. Add a description to help shoppers choose; it is optional.
- Add a picture if needed, then choose Save add-on. Check the option’s Active control in the list.
- On Home, enable Upsells. Open a storefront product to check the option and price in the popup.
- Use Edit to update an option, or clear its Active control to stop offering it. Check the storefront again after saving.
What to know
You supply these add-ons and set their shopper prices. Shopify applies its normal checkout, tax, stock and fulfillment rules.
An add-on is added directly to the cart. It does not use the per-item selection used for gift wrapping or bags.
What happens next
Active options appear in the gift popup when their service is enabled and the store’s product checks allow them.
