Export payment and refund transaction history
Download payments, refunds and store-credit activity recorded during a selected period.
How to use it
- Open the multi-address reporting downloads.
- Select the UTC transaction dates you need and download Transaction history.
- Check transaction Status before summing amounts.
- Distinguish original-payment refunds from Shopify store-credit entries, including refunds on purchases from an earlier period.
What to know
Orders snapshot selects purchases by purchase date. Transaction history selects payments, refunds and credit by transaction date, so a refund can appear even if its purchase happened earlier.
Manual payment/refund records that allocate the combined payment to recipient orders are excluded. Store-credit activity is linked to the original purchase and labelled separately.
What happens next
The report separates payments, refunds and store credit without counting recipient payment-allocation records as new money received.
